Easy Keyword Strategy
People use search engines like Google to find answers to their questions and problems. By researching the terms and topics people are searching for, you create SEO (search engine optimization) smart content that attracts the right visitors and buyers to your website, blogs and marketing materials! There are a couple of search terms to get comfortable with.

2. Keywords-Create a list of words or phrases your ideal customer might be searching for when they go online to look for a product or service like you provide. Ask yourself the following question when considering your key words: What problem does your product or service solve? Plug these “seed” keywords into the Google search engine and pay attention to the drop-down phrases. These recommendations dished up by google are easy ways to dial in your keyword strategy.
3. Research-KWFinder is a free keyword research tool. Note you are limited to only 3 keyword searches per day with the free account. If you want more searches, you will want to upgrade to their premium service. With the below data you will be able to see if it makes sense to focus on the keywords you’ve selected.
a. Keyword difficulty-the lower the difficulty, the easier it will be to rank for that keyword or phrase.
b. Monthly search volumes- in the upper right you’ll see how often the term was searched over the last 12-months.
c. Google SERP (Search engine result pages) results-This shows the top Google results for each keyword-you’ll see what other sites are using this term. This even shows an estimated number of visits to that site for that specific term.
4. Summarize results. Key Word Phrases should be:
a. Rich with niche/specific multi-word phrases
b. In alignment with the interests of your target audience and your area of expertise
c. Ranking with 500 or more average monthly searches
d. Low in Keyword difficulty
e. Relevant to the content your writing
